The second Greater Bay Area Youth Baseball Invitational Tournament has successfully concluded in Shenzhen

In order to further promote cross-strait baseball exchanges and facilitate

the vibrant development of youth baseball in the Greater Bay Area involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau,

the second "Greater Bay Area Youth Baseball Invitational Tournament" kicked off on August 15, 2023,

in Nanshan, Shenzhen. The opening ceremony was attended by officials including Zeng Huiming and Yang Qidian,

Deputy Directors of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Shenzhen City; Chu Qing,

a standing committee member of Nanshan District Committee;Zhang Xun,

Vice President of Guangdong Baseball and Softball Association; Cai Shunan,

President of Shenzhen Baseball Association, and others.

This edition of the tournament showcased various highlights,

with advancements in scale, coverage, and overall quality.

The event featured four categories: Youth Division, U15 Division, U12 Division,

and U10 Division, totaling 24 games held concurrently at Zhongshan Park Baseball Field,

Qiaoxiang Baseball Field, and Nanshan Overseas Chinese Town High School,

South Campus. After five days of intense competition,

involving 350 youth players and coaches from both sides of the strait as well as Hong Kong and Macau,

the tournament concluded satisfactorily on August 20.

Throughout the matches, numerous unforgettable moments unfolded.

Cross-strait young players fought side by side on the field,

sweat mingling with the seeds of friendship.

With every swing of the bat, they aimed not only for their team's honor but also to realize their individual dreams.

Spectators witnessed moments of pitching, hitting, and base running,

connecting with the emotions and resonance of this sport.

which concluded in Shenzhen with resounding success.
